The Hat and Boot in Seattle, Washington. Originally part of a cowboy themed gas station named "Premium Tex" built in 1954. The hat sat over the gas pumps and the boots were Cowboy and Cowgirl bathrooms. The gas station closed in 1988 and the icon sat in an abandoned parking lot for years beginning to fall apart. Residents of the Georgetown neighborhood helped raise funds to move and restore the pair at Oxbow Park. There isn't the same unique qualities in today's roadside attractions.
