The Sagrada Familia sits in Barcelona unique to the world over. It's designed by famed Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. Construction began on the church in 1882. It's still being worked into today a goal of completion in 2026 a century after Gaudi's death. Gaudi's original models and workshop were all destroyed in the war. Present day construction is based on modern adaptations to anything recovered. It's visible from so many parts of the city and a piece of architecture you will never forget.
